This special single malt Scotch whisky is the result of a creative journey by Dr Bill Lumsden, Glenmorangie's Master Whisky Maker. His aim: to reflect the sensory contrasts and vibrant energy of the Japanese capital in a whisky.

For the first time in Glenmorangie's history, the extremely rare and sophisticated Mizunara oak from Japan was used - a wood known for its fine, multi-layered flavours and challenging maturation. This Mizunara cask maturation was combined with whisky from sherry and bourbon casks, resulting in a unique flavour of sweetness, spice and exotic notes.
