Hendrick's Gin 41.4% ABV 0.7 l is an exceptional premium Scottish gin, renowned for its distinctive combination of classic botanicals and special infusions. It is produced at the Hendrick's Gin Palace Distillery in Girvan, Scotland, under the creative direction of Master Distiller Lesley Gracie, who developed the gin in 1999. The recipe combines eleven carefully selected botanicals, including juniper, coriander, angelica root and citrus peel, before the gin is refined with the characteristic notes of cucumber and rose petals. Another distinctive feature is the combination of two different distillation methods, utilising both a Bennett Pot Still and a Carter-Head Still. Bottled at 41.4% ABV in the iconic dark 0.7-litre apothecary bottle, Hendrick's Gin is one of the best-known examples of modern Scottish gin culture.


What sets Hendrick's Original Gin apart is its exceptional balance, which was deliberately developed by its creator, Lesley Gracie, to achieve a particularly well-rounded gin style. The two separately distilled components are blended together before the characteristic cucumber and rose infusions are added. Whilst the Bennett still imparts a more robust distillate character, the Carter-Head distillation process delivers more delicate aromatic nuances.
