This bottling was created as a tribute to George Smith, the founder of The Glenlivet Distillery, and embodies the distillery’s signature smooth and fruity whisky style. The Founder’s Reserve bears no age statement and is blended from carefully selected single malts. A key factor in its character is the maturation in American oak casks, including first-fill American oak casks that have not previously been used to mature Scotch whisky.
