The St. Kilian Kiliani Edition BONIFATIUS Single Malt Whisky is the latest release in the special Kiliani Edition series from the German distiller St. Kilian Distillers and pays homage to an important historical figure: Boniface. Traditionally, the distillery releases a bottling with a regional connection around the feast day of St Kilian. Strictly limited to 750 bottles, this edition has been matured for over 6 years in fresh German oak casks (Virgin German Oak) and symbolically combines the strength of the oak with modern whisky craftsmanship. At 46% ABV in a 0.5-litre bottle, this German single malt whisky is an exclusive collector’s item and a fitting conclusion to the Kiliani series.


Following on from previous editions such as Gailana, Gosbert, Burkard, Immina and Hedan, the Kiliani Edition BONIFATIUS whisky forms the final chapter of this historic series. Maturation in Virgin German Oak casks lends the distillate a distinctive structure, subtle woody notes and a harmonious blend of fruitiness and spice. The influence of German oak lends depth and character, whilst the meticulous craftsmanship of the St. Kilian Distillery produces a balanced premium single malt whisky from Germany that combines tradition, history and the art of distillation.
