Three different types of cask were used for maturation: ex-rum casks, ex-vermouth casks and virgin oak casks. This exceptional combination lends the whisky a fascinating balance of fruity, spicy and sweet aromas. Whilst the ex-rum casks contribute exotic fruit notes and a mellow sweetness, the vermouth casks introduce elegant herbal and spicy nuances. The virgin oak casks round off the profile with intense vanilla, oak and toasted aromas.
