This strictly limited edition draws on one of the distillery’s best-known stories and celebrates the legendary yellow submarine, which can still be found on the distillery grounds today. The story began around twenty years ago, when Islay fishermen John Baker and Harold Hastie discovered a remote-controlled submarine off the coast and brought it to the distillery. As a thank you for their help, they were given a bottle of the first Yellow Submarine whisky. With Yellow Submarine, this iconic bottling now returns in a modern interpretation.


This 14-year-old Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky has been crafted from a carefully balanced combination of first-fill bourbon casks and Bordeaux red wine casks. This cask selection lends the whisky impressive depth and combines Bruichladdich’s characteristic elegance with fruity and spicy notes.
