The foundation is laid by maturation in classic ex-bourbon casks, which is then complemented by an elaborate three-cask finish. The whisky is also matured in 10-year-old Tawny Port casks and in rare 30-year-old Matusalem sherry casks, resulting in intense notes of fruit, honey and spices. The combination of bourbon, port and sherry casks ensures exceptional balance and aromatic depth. Despite the complex cask maturation, the characteristic style of Dalmore whisky, with its smooth, elegant structure, remains clearly recognisable.
