Maturation takes place using the Solera method, initially in bourbon barrels, port wine barrels and Spanish Oloroso sherry barrels, before extended maturation in American rye whiskey barrels gives the distillate its characteristic flavour. At 43% vol., this 86 proof rum with a rye finish is structured, aromatically dense and balanced at the same time.
