The colour black here symbolises the dignity and solemnity of death, as it is deeply rooted in Día de los Muertos, and forms a deliberate contrast to the other variants, Pinkster and Orange, which symbolise life and the luminous Cempasúchil.


Despite its deep black appearance, it is a tequila blanco made from 100% blue Weber agave, which is bottled unaged. It is produced in Jalisco, Mexico, using traditional methods, with a clear focus on the raw, unadulterated character of the agave.
