The Bottega Alexander Aqva di Vita Grappa Prosecco is an elegant and aromatically fine grape marc spirit made from the skins of Glera grapes - the golden yellow grape variety from which the world-famous Prosecco is made. Production follows the highest quality standards, with care and purity of the raw materials taking centre stage. Only healthy, fresh and vinous pomace from the best growing regions in northern Italy is carefully stored immediately after pressing in order to preserve its quality and full flavour.


Distillation takes place in traditional copper stills in a three-stage process at different temperatures. Bottega uses vacuum distillation to protect the sensitive flavours in the best possible way, while bain-marie heating (water bath) ensures particularly gentle processing. The result is a grappa of exceptional purity that perfectly captures the fresh, fruity and floral notes of the Glera grape. The grappa then matures for around six months in stainless steel tanks, which refines its structure and gives it a particularly soft, harmonious texture.
