Roner Cueva 12 is a blend of the finest rums, which are matured in selected oak barrels for up to 12 years. This long storage period allows for an extraordinary variety of flavours and ensures a harmonious balance between sweet, fruity and spicy notes. Solera maturation is a special method in which younger and older distillates are married over a period of years in an elaborate system of stacked oak barrels.

The name Cueva 1501 refers to the year 1501, when the first Spanish explorers reached the coasts of what is now Panama. This connection to history is reflected in the traditional production process, which gives this rum its unmistakable depth of character.
