Ron Cristóbal Santa Maria Limited Edition Vintage 2009 is the result of unique climatic conditions that have left a lasting impression on the vintage. Both the sugar cane and the start of maturation in oak barrels were significantly influenced by the climate of this special year.

The rum from the Dominican Republic matured for 13 years in ex-bourbon barrels made from American white oak, developing its distinctive profile in the process. The tropical weather conditions on site contributed to the intense flavour development and gave it a remarkable depth.

In 2022, this premium rum, limited to 2,050 bottles, was bottled as a blend of several distillates from the same vintage - without chill filtration and with its natural alcohol content.
