Only distillates made from fresh sugar cane juice are used for Ron Zacapa Edición Negra 23, which are matured in the traditional Sistema Solera at an altitude of around 2300 metres in Guatemala. It is matured in double-burnt oak barrels, resulting in intense roasted flavours, subtle smoky notes and exceptional depth. The characteristic hand-woven band of Stroh, made by Mayan descendants, symbolises the unity of time and space and underlines the traditional origins of this luxurious Guatemalan rum. With a strong 43% alcohol content, this Solera rum is particularly full-bodied, creamy and elegant.
