Adrian Schleihauf is the third generation to run the Schleihauf fine fruit distillery, which has specialised in the handmade production of high-quality spirits for over 40 years. The distillery was founded in 1982 by his grandfather Herbert Schleihauf, an experienced cooper and cellar master who laid the foundations for the production of traditional fruit brandies.

Inspired by his cat Rüdiger, the Böser Kater brand was born, combining a love of cats with a passion for first-class spirits. Adrian and his team are continuing the tradition of the family manufactory. With every purchase of a Böser Kater gin, a contribution is made to cat protection, as part of the proceeds go to this cause.

Böser Kater Colour Changing Vodka offers an extraordinary experience both in terms of taste and appearance as, as the name suggests, it can change colour. This colour change occurs as soon as tonic water or other acidic drinks are added. Although the exact process that makes this colour change possible remains a secret, it is known that a particularly elaborate production method is used.
