Made from Scottish Concerto barley from the same batch as the 15.1 version, this single malt impressively demonstrates how different cask maturations can influence the character of a whisky. The five-year maturation period on Islay allows the flavours to develop in perfect harmony - from intense smoky and malty notes to fruity, spicy and woody facets, which are given an additional dimension by the cognac cask finish. The edition is bottled at cask strength at 57.9% vol., naturally unfiltered and without colouring to preserve all the depth and authenticity of this exceptional Islay malt.
