Description
Description
RyeLaw is an exceptional single distillery Fife grain Scotch whisky made from 53% malted rye and 47% malted barley. Whilst it meets the criteria for American rye whisky, there is no legal definition of rye whisky in Scotland, which is why this term cannot be used on the bottle in the decanter style. RyeLaw is the only whisky in the world made from rye and distilled in a Lomond Hill pot still.
To extract maximum flavour, rye and barley malt are finely ground and filtered through a rare Meura mash filter, which is only used twice in Scotland. In addition, the special rye-specific yeast ensures a distinctive flavour. The whisky is matured in charred new oak casks from the Ozark Mountains.
The RyeLaw is presented in an elegant bottle that represents the company's "3Ms" philosophy - "Materials, Methods, Maturation". The bottle has a unique wave effect and a bottle neck modelled on the special filter of the hammer mill. Only 200 casks of this exclusive whisky were bottled and distributed worldwide.
