Crafted from estate-malted barley, carefully peated and non-chill-filtered, this 25-year-old single malt retains all its natural flavours and textures. It is matured exclusively in ex-bourbon casks, whose American oak gives the whisky a subtle sweetness, notes of vanilla and a creamy texture. With an alcohol content of 47.3% vol., it was bottled at cask strength - as if you were enjoying it straight from the barrel.


In its youth, the whisky presented itself with strong vanilla and berry flavours, while it became rounder, softer and more nuanced over the decades. Today, the Laphroaig 25 Years Old is a perfect interplay of fruity elegance, soft smoke and maritime depth - a further development of the classic Laphroaig 10, but with the complex maturity of a quarter of a century.
