Originally known as "Tatran tea", this tea has its origins in the Tatra Mountains, an impressive part of the Carpathian mountain range in Eastern Europe. In the past, people in this region firmly believed that there was a special medicinal herb for every illness. The ingredients for their "healing potions" were simple and effective: hot water was mixed with honey, garlic, tallow and alcohol to achieve healing effects.

This tradition lives on today in Tatratea liqueur, which uses black tea from India, oak shavings and carefully selected herbs and spices. This modern liqueur preserves the essence of the original recipe and combines it with contemporary flavours.

The Hibiscus & Red Tea Liqueur is produced through an elaborate maceration process and then bottled in eye-catching, berry-coloured bottles with an alcohol content of 37%. The water used for production comes from the pure springs of the Tatra Mountains, which contributes to the outstanding quality and characteristic flavour of the liqueur.
