Sustainability is becoming increasingly important in our society, and the Ron Sostenible Triple Cask consistently takes this development into account, both in its name and in its production process. This environmentally friendly rum is produced to strict ecological standards and is transported to Europe by sea with low emissions.

A special feature of the distillery is the collection of the CO₂ produced during fermentation in special pressurised tanks, which is then used for the production of carbonated drinks. In addition, the residue from the distillation is used as a natural fertiliser in the sugar cane fields, which rounds off the sustainable production cycle.

The Ron Sostenible Experimental Rioja Cask initially matures for eight years in bourbon barrels before receiving a special finish in Spanish Rioja barrels. This finish gives the rum a pronounced tannin structure which, together with the acidity of the wine, results in a particularly dry and complex flavour profile.
