Our products are characterised by the careful selection of high-quality rums from the Caribbean and South America and their transfer to France, where they undergo their final refinement in Ars, the heart of the traditional French art of distillation. Here, the rums are refined using the tried and tested "double ageing" process, maturing for several months in discarded oak cognac barrels - a technique that has its roots in the 18th and 19th centuries.

The ageing process of Plantation Rum El Salvador 2015 begins with five years of ageing in bourbon barrels, which gives it a harmonious ester content of 35 g/hL. This is followed by two years of further development in FERRAND barrels before it receives its characteristic finish through a one-year maturation in Pineau des Charentes casks. In 2023, this exclusive rum will be bottled with a dosage of 6 g/L, which emphasises its variety of flavours and characteristic properties.
