The Macallan's whisky maker, Sarah Burgess, was inspired by Sir Peter Blake, a world-renowned British pop artist, to carefully select the casks to create a complex yet perfectly balanced single malt. This whisky is part of the Anecdotes of Ages Collection and is the third meisterwerk produced by The Macallan in collaboration with the iconic artist.

"An Estate, A Community and A Distillery" - a memento of Sir Peter Blake's visit to the estate on the legendary River Spey - tells a story of The Macallan's past and present.

A label digitally designed by Sir Peter Blake adorns the bottling and comes with a certificate describing the history as well as the heritage on which the art is based. The scroll, another piece of art in Sir Peter Blake's style, contains anecdotes from the entire collection of all the bottles produced in collaboration with him.
