Ron Cristóbal is a premium rum brand named after Christopher Columbus and is distilled, fermented and produced in the Dominican Republic by Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos. The company, the largest alcohol producer in the country, harvests its own sugar cane, which ensures that the rum is made exclusively from Dominican plants.

The rare Ron Cristóbal Santa Maria Recioto Finish Rum impresses with its double maturation, which sets it apart from other rums. Distilled in 2009 in a column still, this Dominican rum matured for a total of 13 years before being bottled in August 2022. It spent the majority of this time in American white oak barrels before this excellent rum was transferred to former Recioto wine barrels for its final second maturation.
