The Isautier distillery on the island of La Réunion in the Indian Ocean is known for producing rhum agricole from fresh sugar cane juice, which is produced under French control. Although rhum agricole is appreciated worldwide, molasses rum or "traditional rum" is often held in higher esteem. Isautier uses both types of rum not only for classic cocktails, but also for the creation of special liqueurs.

One notable example is the Isautier Arrange Ginger Lemon liqueur, which is based on rhum agricole and has been available since 2016. Despite its name, which is reminiscent of gin, this liqueur is made from high-quality Isautier rhum and flavoured with natural ingredients such as Ingwerer and lemon. Isautier's Arrangé range, which also includes Isautier Arrangé Exotic, stands for creative and unique-flavoured liqueurs that stand out from traditional rum punches.
