In this series, Master Blender Hernan Parra personally selects exceptional vintages and gives them a distinctive character through special cask maturation.

This particular bottling was distilled in 2003 and matured for 19 years in American white oak before undergoing additional refinement in ex-Port wine barrels. This special maturation gives the rum an elegant depth, fruity accents and a fine balance between sweetness and flavour. The influences of the port wine provide notes of dark berries, dried fruit and a smooth, velvety structure that makes this rum particularly complex.
