In this edition, Dictador meets Dirk Niepoort, the Master Blender of the traditional Portuguese winery Niepoort, which is known for its legendary port wines.

At the heart of this rum are the rare, long-matured distillates from the 1971, 1974, 1978 and 1980 vintages. After decades of maturation in oak barrels in Colombia, the rum was stored for a final refinement in port pipes over 50 years old at Niepoort in Portugal. This special port wine finish gives the rum a unique complexity, depth and sweet fruitiness that makes it an unrivalled masterpiece.
