Ron Esclavo is a premium rum brand known for its high-quality and handcrafted spirits. The brand was founded by Danish entrepreneur and rum enthusiast Henrik Kristofferson, who fell in love with the Dominican Republic and its rum traditions. The name Ron Esclavo means slave rum in Spanish and is a reminder of the historical link between rum production and the history of slavery in the Caribbean. Ron Esclavo is dedicated to producing rums of exceptional quality, using traditional production methods and carefully selected ingredients. The finest sugar cane from the Dominican Republic and a careful distillation and ageing process are used to produce spirits.

This rum is first matured in American and French oak barrels before undergoing a second maturation for 12 months in ex-Oloroso sherry barrels, which give it a special depth and fine sherry notes.

It was bottled in October 2021 and is limited to 955 bottles, making this rum an exclusive speciality.
