The Kavalan Concertmaster Port Cask Finish Single Malt Whisky 40% Vol. 0.7 l + GB is an elegant and balanced single malt whisky from Taiwan that perfectly embodies the craftsmanship and innovative spirit of the renowned Kavalan Distillery. The distillery, located in Yilan, uses only pure spring water from Taiwan's snow-capped mountains for its production - an essential element that contributes to the purity and clarity of the whisky. The tropical climate of the region ensures particularly rapid maturation and gives the whisky an impressive depth and complexity.


The Concertmaster is regarded as the refined evolution of the classic Kavalan single malt. After its basic maturation in a combination of fresh and refill bourbon casks and sherry casks, it is given a finish of around six months in selected port casks. This finish gives it a harmonious sweetness, fruity depth and a creamy-soft texture that clearly sets it apart from other bottlings from the distillery.
