The Teeling Irish Whiskey Rum Cask impresses with its exceptionally high malt content, which makes it a rare and special bottling. This characteristic feature gives the whiskey a remarkable depth and complexity. Maturation takes place in two carefully coordinated phases: First, the grain and malt whiskeys mature separately in ex-bourbon barrels, maintaining a precise 3:1 ratio in favour of the grain.

This first maturation period can last up to six years and allows the whiskeys to develop their individual flavour profiles. After this phase, the whiskeys are brought together in small batches and undergo a final finish in selected American rum casks, giving the Teeling Irish Whiskey Rum Cask its unique, complex flavour, which delights both connoisseurs and lovers of exceptional whiskeys.
