Zacapa 23 Centenario Gran Reserva, one of the most renowned and best-known rums in the world, is produced by the Guatemalan rum brand Zacapa, which was founded in 1976. Zacapa is internationally recognised for its high-quality rums, which are produced using a unique and extremely complex ageing process.

The rum is produced in the highlands of Guatemala, where the cool climate and high altitude create optimal conditions for ageing. The sugar cane used, which grows on fertile volcanic soil, gives the rum a distinctive flavour profile that sets it apart from other varieties.

The Ron Zacapa Centenario 23 Solera La Doma is an exquisite blend of rums that mature for between 6 and 24 years in wooden barrels and then receive a finish in former American whisky barrels. This rum is produced using the traditional Zacapa Solera method, which is known for its consistently high quality.

La Doma is the first edition of the Heavenly Cask Collection, a series with which Master Blender Lorena Vásquez endeavours to convey a piece of Guatemalan rum history and at the same time celebrate the exceptional craftsmanship of Zacapa production.
