Teaninich 17 Years Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky Limited Release 2017 is an exclusive whisky that reflects the rich history and heritage of Teaninich Distillery. The home of Captain Hugh Munro and his family was Teaninich Castle, and in 1817 they established the first legal distillery in Ross-shire. Although the original building and part of the Munro Castle have sadly disappeared, the family's whisky heritage has been preserved over the centuries and is celebrated with this limited release bottling.

To celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Teaninich Distillery, they are launching this special single malt whisky, which has matured for 17 years in refill American white oak hogsheads. The long maturation ensures a complex and deep flavour that perfectly combines both woody and fruity notes. The whisky was distilled in 1999 and bottled in 2017, and comes with an alcohol content of 55.9% by volume, making it a strong yet harmonious whisky.
