Benriach is always on the lookout for an eclectic mix of casks from around the world, selected for their exceptional character and flavours to pass on to the whisky.

The casks are filled with three different types of spirit: classic, peated or triple distilled.

The distillery is known for its long-standing tradition and is creating a new product range at the end of 2019, which brings out the diversity and versatility of Benriach's "orchard fruit style" even more and thus covers the entire spectrum of whisky flavours.

The colour palette of the gift boxes and labels is inspired by the natural surroundings of Speyside.

Benriach The Smoky Twelve is made from a combination of unpeated and peated spirits matured for a minimum of 12 years in a combination of bourbon, sherry and Marsala wine casks. The whisky is then expertly blended together to create a smooth creamy single malt that is multi-layered with flavours of ripened fruit, aromatic smoky sweetness and warming oak spice.
