The name Cihuatán refers to a sacred land that hides the still undiscovered pyramids and secrets of the Mayan civilisation. The Cihuatán XAMAN XO was inspired by this mystical heritage. This bottling is a tribute to the Mayan god of the polar star, "XAMAN", who guided the ancient Mayan civilisation. The Cihuatán XAMAN XO rum is matured for a total of 16 years - 15 years in ex-bourbon barrels and one year in Mayan Ceiba wood barrels, which give it additional, unique flavours.
