The story of the Hyde family began in 1640 when two brothers opened the "Tinker Cross" pub in West Cork, Ireland. Here they poured original Irish whiskey and stout straight from the oak barrels. After 10 generations, not much has changed - two brothers are still taking care of traditional, finest Irish whiskeys. The only difference? Alan and Conor are the first generation to do all this without the family pub. The Hyde No.9 Port Cask 1906 Single Malt Irish Whiskey is matured for 8 years and is made from Irish barley. This whiskey is triple distilled and matured in bourbon cask. The finish takes place in Tawny Port Casks.
