The David Nicholson 1843 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is an authentic, high-quality bourbon that is known for its strong yet balanced flavour. This bourbon was originally created by David Nicholson in the 1840s in his grocery store in St Louis. Today, it is produced by the renowned Lux Row Distillers in Bardstown, Kentucky, using the traditional methods of bourbon production.

Its "wheated" mashbill (a mash recipe that uses wheat instead of rye) gives it a special mildness and a soft texture. With a high alcohol content of 50 % vol. (100 proof), it nevertheless offers an exceptional balance between sweetness, spice and oak notes. Langs maturation in burnt American white oak barrels enhances the depth and full body of this bourbon and ensures a pleasantly creamy structure.
