Topanito Mezcal Artesanal Blanco 100% Maguey Espadín with a volume of 40% and 0.7 litres is an authentic, handcrafted mezcal from Mexico. It is produced using traditional methods in small batches in Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca - the region considered to be the cradle of mezcal.


This mezcal is made from 100% Espadín agave (Agave angustifolia), which matures for several years under the hot Mexican sun before being harvested. After the traditional cooking process in earth ovens, in which the heart of the agave (piña) is slowly roasted over wood and stones, the typical smoky flavour is created. The subsequent fermentation takes place in open wooden vats before the mezcal is distilled twice in copper stills.


As it is a Blanco (Joven) Mezcal, it is not stored in barrels, which means that its pure, clear agave characteristics and original smoky flavour are fully preserved.
