Jura The Sound Single Malt Scotch Whisky is an expressive island bottling from the traditional Isle of Jura Distillery and a tribute to the rugged, often underestimated nature of the Scottish island of Jura. It takes its name from the island's northern strait, home to the infamous Gulf of Corryvreckan, one of the strongest whirlpools in the world. This powerful combination of sea, current and landscape is reflected not only in the character of the whisky, but also in the elaborate gift box design, which impressively showcases the island's maritime elements.


This single malt Scotch whisky is first matured in classic ex-bourbon casks, which provide structure, balance and a gentle sweetness. The whisky is then finished in casks that previously contained 15-year-old Pedro Ximénez sherry. This special finish gives Jura The Sound additional depth, dark fruit flavours and a pleasantly warming aroma. Bottled at 42.5%, this Iceland single malt is harmonious, accessible and yet multi-layered, with a clear combination of cask maturity and island character.
