Zacapa 23 Centenario Gran Reserva, one of the world’s most renowned and famous rums, is produced by the Guatemalan rum brand Zacapa, which was founded in 1976. Zacapa is internationally renowned for its high-quality rums, which are produced using a unique and highly complex ageing process.

The rum is produced in the highlands of Guatemala, where the cool climate and high altitude create optimal conditions for ageing. The sugar cane used, which grows on fertile volcanic soil, gives the rum a distinctive flavour profile that sets it apart from other varieties.

A true rarity: due to the high demand for the Ron Zacapa Centenario 23 Años Bast Bottle Black Label – which is now very hard to find – the 23-year-old Etiqueta Negra was introduced as its successor. This item – entirely wrapped in raffia – is one of the last remaining Ron Zacapa Centenario 23 Años Black Label raffia-wrapped bottles available in Europe. It is particularly noteworthy that this ‘old’ version has not yet been aged using the Solera process, making it especially valuable to collectors and connoisseurs.
