This rum is produced using the Sistema Solera method, in which rums at different stages of maturation are blended together over a period of years to achieve depth, consistency and balance. The rum is aged in ex-bourbon casks as well as French wine casks, which gives the Estupendo 15 a remarkable range of aromas. The designation ‘15’ refers to the Solera system and not to a classic age statement for all its components. This bottling is released at 38% ABV, which further emphasises its smooth, approachable style.
