Planteray Rum FIJI ISLANDS Single Cask Multi-Oak Cask 2019 48.4% vol. 0.7 l is a limited-edition single-cask bottling from Fiji, which forms part of the exclusive Planteray Single Cask Collection 2026. This exceptional rum is produced from sugarcane molasses at the Paradise Beverage Distillery, where the molasses is first fermented for four to five days and then distilled using the traditional pot still method. Distilled in 2019, the rum is first matured for four years under tropical conditions in ex-bourbon casks, before being stored for a further 19 months in Ferrand casks in France. It derives its distinctive character from a final 18-month secondary maturation in a multi-oak cask made from American and French oak. Bottled at 48.4% ABV in a 0.7-litre bottle with a gift box, this special edition combines Pacific rum tradition with French barrel ageing.

The Planteray Rum brand, formerly Plantation Rum, belongs to the French spirits house Maison Ferrand and, under the guidance of Master Blender Alexandre Gabriel, is renowned for its exceptional cask combinations. The Planteray Fiji Islands 2019 Multi-Oak Cask is characterised by its three-stage maturation process, in which the final multi-oak finish highlights the influence of different types of oak. Whilst American oak traditionally favours softer woody notes, French oak brings additional structure and spice to the maturation process. With a total maturation period of around seven years and one month and no added sugar, this bottling is one of the most exceptional rarities in the Planteray Single Cask series.
