Description
The Vieil Armagnac Delord Vintage Récolte 1967 is an exceptional vintage bottling from Gascony, which preserves the character of the historic 1967 harvest and distillation vintage. This Vieil Armagnac is produced by the long-established Delord family estate, whose history began in 1893 with Prosper Delord. Over several generations, the family has passed down its expertise in viticulture, distillation and the long-term ageing of fine eaux-de-vie. The extensive stocks of old vintages form a special foundation for the house’s vintage bottlings. As an Armagnac Millésimé 1967, this bottling represents a clearly defined vintage and thus differs from classic Armagnac cuvées made from several vintages.
Thanks to decades of maturation, the Delord Vintage Récolte 1967 possesses a distinctly mature character, in which prolonged cask ageing plays a central role. Contact with the oak allows the eau-de-vie to continuously develop structure, depth and complexity. This historic Vieil Armagnac is bottled at 40% alcohol by volume in a 0.7-litre bottle. The presentation in a high-quality wooden box emphasises the exclusive nature of this vintage bottling. Particularly for collectors, and as an exceptional gift to mark the 1967 vintage – for instance, for a birthday or anniversary – this Armagnac Delord combines a personal connection to the past with France’s time-honoured distilling tradition.
