The Bowmore 20 Years Old Oak Voyage Edition 01 is a 20-year-old Islay single malt Scotch whisky from the exclusive Bowmore Captivo Collection, created in collaboration with the New York-based design studio Snarkitecture. The collaboration combines the Bowmore Distillery’s long-standing whisky tradition with contemporary design and a concept that explores transitions, perspectives and discovery. For the Oak Voyage, Bowmore uses exclusively American oak: the single malt was initially matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks and then finished in Oloroso sherry-seasoned American oak butts. This careful selection of casks thus combines long-term maturation in bourbon casks with the additional influence of Oloroso sherry.

The Bowmore Oak Voyage Edition 01 2026 is bottled at a robust 50.8% ABV in a 0.7-litre bottle. As part of the Captivo Collection, this edition embodies a fusion of provenance, precise cask management and modern design. The exceptional combination of 20 years’ maturation, 100 per cent American oak, an Oloroso sherry finish and the characteristic style of a matured Bowmore makes this bottling particularly appealing to connoisseurs of high-quality Islay whiskies and collectors of limited-edition Bowmore releases.
