The Nardini Grappa Riserva 5 ANNI embodies more than two centuries of experience in the art of grappa distillation by the long-established Italian house of Bortolo Nardini. For this Riserva, particularly smooth and aromatic grappas made from pomace from various vineyards are blended to create a carefully balanced blend. Nardini also combines different methods during distillation: Some of the grappas are produced using a batch vacuum distillation system, whilst other components are produced using continuous column distillation. This combination of different distillates forms the basis for the grappa’s complex and harmonious character.


The Nardini Grappa Riserva 5 Years derives its distinctive depth from at least five years’ ageing in Slavonian oak casks. During this time, the grappa is carefully stored in the Nardini cellars, where it develops its mature Riserva character. The long barrel ageing complements the original pomace aromas with intense notes of cocoa, vanilla and fruit, whilst also ensuring a particularly smooth mouthfeel. At 42 per cent ABV in a 0.7-litre bottle, the Nardini Grappa Riserva 5 ANNI is a mature Italian grappa for connoisseurs of traditional spirits, in which five years’ barrel ageing, Slavonian oak and various distillation methods are skilfully combined.
