Berliner Mumpitz Rhubarb & Cardamom is an exceptional smoothie liqueur from Germany that combines fruity rhubarb with aromatic cardamom. Handcrafted with great care, Berliner Mumpitz uses natural ingredients, a high fruit content and a deliberately reduced level of sweetness. A fruit content of around 70 per cent gives it its characteristic smoothie-like consistency, which is why the bottle should always be shaken vigorously before serving. The liqueur is vegan and contains colouring. The combination of fruit and spice takes centre stage: young rhubarb forms the tangy, fresh base, whilst cardamom adds a spicy, distinctive element. This variant is bottled at 22 per cent in a 0.7-litre bottle.
