The Bushmills 12 Years Old PX SHERRY CASK Single Malt Irish Whiskey is a limited-edition release from The World Wood series by the historic Old Bushmills Distillery in Northern Ireland. In keeping with the distillery’s signature style, this Irish single malt whisky is triple-distilled, resulting in a particularly smooth and fruity character. The whisky is then matured for a total of 12 years, undergoing a carefully curated cask selection process. It is initially stored in first-fill bourbon casks, before the single malt is further refined in a combination of first-fill and second-fill ex-Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. It is precisely the intense influence of the PX sherry casks that adds extra depth, sweetness and spicy cask notes to the fruity Bushmills style.


With this elaborate cask maturation, the Bushmills 12 Years Old PX Sherry Cask showcases a particularly expressive side of the Northern Irish distillery. The combination of triple distillation, first-fill bourbon casks and first- and second-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry casks is the defining feature of this limited edition.
