For the XO Explorer Reserve Germany Edition, a carefully balanced blend of matured rum-based distillates has been created, the character of which is largely shaped by ageing in oak casks. The result is a smooth and rounded composition in which ripe fruit and caramel meet distinctive woody notes. Caramelised figs and candied citrus peel in particular complement the bolder notes of oak, tobacco and leather. The Germany Edition is bottled at 40 per cent in a 0.7-litre bottle, complete with a gift box. The combination of a limited and numbered bottling, a country-specific gift box and a matured XO blend makes this edition particularly appealing to collectors of the A.H.
