Agave de Cortés Mezcal Artesanal AÑEJO is a premium Mexican mezcal from Oaxaca, produced using traditional methods and reflecting the authentic craftsmanship of mezcal production. This Mezcal Artesanal is produced from carefully selected 100 per cent agaves, which are processed using the classic method. The agave hearts are roasted in underground earth ovens, creating the characteristic smoky mezcal flavour, which is then further refined through fermentation and distillation.

As an Añejo Mezcal, this bottling is aged for an extended period in oak casks, allowing additional depth and complexity to develop. The cask ageing combines the typical smoky and earthy mezcal notes with warm woody and spicy aromas, resulting in a particularly harmonious structure. Bottled at 46.5% ABV, the Agave de Cortés Mezcal Artesanal Añejo is powerful and expressive, without losing its balance. The result is an elegant premium mezcal from Mexico that combines traditional production methods with complex cask ageing.
