This distinctive Turkish aniseed spirit is distilled from a fine grape brandy and embodies the classic production of an authentic Yeni Rakı style, where the quality of the raw materials and artisanal distillation take centre stage. The grapes used come from selected growing regions in the Aegean, where they benefit from optimal conditions for producing high-quality grape distillates.


For Beylerbeyi Raki, the grape brandy is infused with selected aniseed and then triple-distilled, resulting in a particularly clear and aromatically balanced premium raki. This meticulous production process ensures a mild character and a full-bodied aroma. The raki is produced without added sugar, which allows the natural flavour of the grapes and aniseed to come through particularly well. With an alcohol content of 45 per cent, this Turkish raki is both robust and harmonious.


Traditionally, raki is served well chilled and is usually diluted with cold, still water in a 1:1 ratio. Adding water creates the typical milky cloudiness, which is considered a characteristic feature of high-quality aniseed spirits. Depending on personal preference, Beylerbeyi Mavi Raki can also be served with ice or enjoyed neat, allowing its aromatic depth to unfold particularly well.
