La Cofradía ED. CATRINA Tequila Blanco 100% de Agave NEGRO is an exceptional limited-edition release from the long-established La Cofradía distillery, combining authentic tequila craftsmanship with powerful cultural symbolism. As part of the Catrina Collection, this edition represents the brand’s evolution and draws on key elements of Mexican cultural heritage. Here, the colour black symbolises the dignity and solemnity of death, as deeply rooted in the Día de los Muertos, and forms a deliberate contrast to the other variants – pink and orange – which symbolise life and the vibrant cempasúchil.

Despite its deep black appearance, this is a Tequila Blanco made from 100% blue Weber agave, bottled without ageing. It is produced in Jalisco, Mexico, using traditional methods, with a clear focus on the raw, unadulterated character of the agave. Bottled at a robust 50% ABV, this edition is aimed at experienced connoisseurs and collectors seeking an intense, characterful Blanco. The iconic ceramic bottle featuring the Catrina design further makes this bottling a striking collector’s item and an eye-catcher in any high-end bar.
