Ron Cueva 1501 Panama 8 Sistema Solera Rum is an exquisite rum that develops a balanced and complex flavour due to its 8 years of maturation in carefully selected barrels. With an alcohol content of 40% vol. and bottled in an elegant 0.7-litre bottle, this rum offers the excellent quality and depth typical of the Solera method. This Roner Cueva is a blend of the finest rums aged in special casks for up to 8 years, resulting in a medium-bodied rum that has both nuttiness and a pleasant spiciness. The ageing process also produces gentle notes of vanilla, oak and cinnamon, which lend this rum a harmonious sweetness.
The name Cueva 1501 refers to the year 1501, when the first Spanish explorers reached the coasts of what is now Panama. This connection to history is reflected in the traditional production process, which gives this rum its unmistakable depth of character.
