The Bunnahabhain Distillery, situated on the picturesque coast of the Isle of Islay, was founded in 1881 and is renowned for its unique, unpeated whiskies. The distillery originally relied on maritime trade and experienced a turning point in 1960 with the construction of a new road, which improved logistics. Following a brief closure in the 1930s and the last ship’s arrival in 1993, the road became the main supply route. In 2006, following its acquisition by Burn Stewart Distillers, the brand’s image underwent a modern revamp. The water used for the whiskies comes from calcareous springs and is channelled to the distillery without coming into contact with peat, giving the whiskies their mild, characteristic flavour.

Bunnahabhain MÒINE TOKAJI CASK FINISH is an exquisite, sweet and smoky whisky, launched to celebrate Bunnahabhain Day at Fèis Ìle 2022. This special bottling was matured for just over a year in Hungarian Tokaji white wine casks, giving it a unique character. This whisky was distilled on 2 February 2004 and bottled on 24 January 2022.
